How to use this playbook
Each week introduces one primary skill. Review previous skills briefly every day so knowledge transfers into real work. Use fictional data only. Student and supervisor should discuss mistakes respectfully; the objective is job readiness, not perfection.
Daily cycle (75–90 minutes): 15 minutes retrieval practice, 20 minutes lesson/video, 35 minutes new exercise, 15 minutes self-check and reflection. Friday: timed independent simulation and supervisor feedback.
Readiness gate: score at least 85% on knowledge checks; achieve at least 90/100 on two different practical simulations; demonstrate independent error-checking; and have no critical errors involving privacy, safety, approvals or financial integrity. These are suggested internal standards, not external certifications.
Non-negotiable operating principles
- Never invent a meeting time, price, approval, figure or policy.
- Never purchase flights, hotels, supplies or services without authorized approval and a confirmed spending limit.
- Never forward resident, employee, payroll or financial information to personal email or unauthorized services.
- Verify payment detail changes through an independently verified channel; beware invoice and vendor impersonation.
- Use least-privilege access, MFA and approved company systems; do not share passwords.
- Check time zones, dates, attendee availability, location, meeting buffers and travel feasibility.
- For every financial report, identify period, source, calculation, assumptions and reviewer.
- Escalate emergencies, threats to resident safety, suspected fraud and privacy incidents immediately via approved procedures.
- Keep a decision log: what was requested, who authorized it, when, and what was completed.
- Clarify priorities and expectations without treating stress or confusion as failure.

Supervisor scoring rubric
| Area | Points | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Accuracy and verification | 30 | Calculations, dates, names, links, totals, independent checks |
| Prioritization and judgment | 20 | Escalation, deadlines, conflicts, approvals, handling ambiguity |
| Communication | 20 | Clear emails, executive summaries, professional tone, confirmation |
| Technical execution | 20 | Correct workbook, slides, calendar, document and file naming |
| Documentation and handoff | 10 | Sources, notes, next steps, owner and status |
Critical error override: An unauthorized payment or booking, sensitive-data disclosure, falsified data, or failure to escalate an urgent safety incident means the simulation must be repeated regardless of score. Coach the mistake, then retest with a new case.
